October was certainly a busy and exciting month!  Here’s some updates on the whirlwind of activities! 

Author’s Night at the Verity Club.  What a night it was! I presented my new book, “The 7 Pitfalls of Single Parenting: What to Avoid to Help Your Children Thrive after Divorce,” at the Verity Club in Toronto. It was a wonderful evening of learning, dialogue and inspiration!

Here I am with just a few of the attendees. Some members of my own book club showed up as a surprise…  en masse to my event - when I’d invited them earlier they were being a bit nonchalant about whether they could come. Turns out they wanted to see the look on my face when they showed up to support me - it’s wonderful having friends like that!

October also included lots of new experiences and stretching in order to promote The 7 Pitfalls of Single Parenting - a national radio tour that reached 4.5 million, TV interviews, attending the annual conference of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, to name the highlights.  Now I’m packing my bags to head to Los Angeles to attend events with Mark Victor Hansen and Alexandria Brown (I’ll be doing a presentation there on podcasting!). Thank goodness for the patience of my children, their dad and my nanny to help me make this work!
