Divorce Attorneys - How to Find Your Perfect Match
Divorce attorneys are not all alike. I’m a big proponent of alternatives to going to court, like mediation or collaborative law. I recently was interviewed by Lee Rosen, of Rosen Law Firm in North Carolina, where they promise… ”Divorce is different here.” The ethic there is to promote peaceful resolution to divorce and as part of their services they include the resources of other professionals as needed, like divorce coaches, parenting experts and financial professionals. Plus, they calculate a fee for you in advance of what it would cost for you to obtain your divorce so there are no surprise bills down the road. Quite interesting! You can catch the interview I did as part with Lee of his “One on One” program at http://radio.rosen.com. I wish there were more family law firms out there with this kind of a philosophy!

There are some very important factors to consider when choosing a form of divorce and CL is a relatively new field. Please visit http://www.MyCollaborativeLawDivorce.org for a discussion of CL and its ins/outs. As always, buyer beware!
