Masterminding in Vegas
Aaah, the power of the mastermind! I’m just back from a 2-day meeting in Las Vegas with my newly formed group of fellow entrepreneurs and business owners. The concept of a mastermind group was put forward by Napoleon Hill in his classic book, Think and Grow Rich. Hill said that “No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind.” This was so true! The creativity, encouragement and inspiration that was generated within our group left me feeling completely grateful and blessed.
We worked hard, brainstorming and problem-solving together with each of us spending an hour in the “hot seat” reviewing and designing our businesses. (That’s me during my hot seat session!). And, it being Vegas, we played hard too, of course! Highlights included some amazing meals, incredible conversation, a trip in a stretch Hummer down “the Strip” and a night of dancing at a happening club at Caesar’s Palace. The power and support of putting yourself in the presence of like-minded individuals committed to thriving in their lives was so clear to me. It’s what I’m committed to building here in the growing Thrive Community as well, through teleseminars and workshops, that separated and divorced people can come together for support, new ideas and inspiration. Got some pretty nifty new ideas and directions as a result as well — more to come on that shortly!
